Shipping Policy

Online Shipping and Handling:

Generally we ship the Orders from our Indian warehouses via FedEX, using standard rates. Shipping charges are included in the rates offered on FOB basis. However, on a case to case manner the following exceptions are applicable. Light Matter Technologies (LMT) may, at our discretion, choose to use another carrier at no additional shipping cost.

Heavy items may be shipped separately on an F.O.B basis and the cost as per this will be additional and applicable. All items will be sent with insurance paid and the price shown includes insurance charges. In-stock items will be shipped on the same day (within 24 hours) and other items will be shipped in five days. The times quoted do not include any delays in destination customs. Expedited shipment is not available in all areas.

Taxes, Customs and Duty

The final purchase price includes all applicable local taxes and duties and does not include customs and other duties and levies at the destination ports. Customs, import duties and related charges for each product and service vary from country to country and are the responsibility of the customer.

Partial Shipments:

Partial shipments will be made if an order or item contains multiple components. If a customer wishes for onetime single shipment, please mention this at the time of placing the order.

Part Availability:

For some reason, if a part is not available, you will be notified by e-mail and opportunity will be given to amend or cancel your order.

Exchange and Returns:

Light Matter Technologies (LMT) will only accept products returned under the Light Matter Technologies Goods Authorization Process. The customer shall obtain an RGA number from LMT prior to returning any product, including an itemized statement of defect(s), prepaid and insured to Trivandrum as the FOB point. Any product which has been returned to Light Matter Technologies, against inspection and evaluation, if found to meet the applicable specification for the product and not defective in workmanship and material quality shall be subject to Light Matter Technologies' standard re-stocking fee of 20% of the purchase price. Light Matter Technologies assumes no liability for customer furnished material.

Your Address Information:

A valid physical address is required for all our shipments and the courier/ shipping companies are restricted from delivering to a P.O. Box.
